Nice's beautiful façades

Not much to say really.

NiceBuildings1

I'm just spending this rainy autumn day remembering my wander amongst the gorgeous buildings of Nice on the French Riviera.

I wish every town put this much effort into their buildings.

There are a good twenty blocks of this. Can you imagine it?

Oh France, I love you.

I will be back later this week with (hopefully, finally) the last of our Spring Trip photos (spoiler: CASTLES!)

Hope you're all having a wonderful week so far! x x

This is what I meant to say: Got to love this! (Feels like being unfaithful to my true love Italy...)

Beautiful, love French architecture.

Beautiful! Do you think they have a law that says 'paint colours in Sand and Sky only'??

Gorgeous memories. And I thought I took a lot of photos in Montpellier!

France is GORGEOUS more than I ever expected. I'm afraid that Australia just isn't going to do it for you in quite the same way when you come home. :(

The photos "say it all". Superbe. I covet all their beautifully painted wrought iron... (and wish Sydney's didnt rust.)

Nice must have been a very wealthy city when these lovely buildings were constructed. It is almost impossible to believe people would be able to afford the time and labour costs these days. These buildings are so well maintained and obviously cherished too. Beautiful pictures!

Love it. Thanks for the photos. The first time I visited France I was blown away by the effort the French take to simply make things look beautiful. There should be more of it.

Love the beautiful, ornate buildings with the cheerful flowers in windowboxes. Just gorgeous.

I want to walk by those buildings everyday. It's like Paris, but with more sunshine x
