Quiet around these parts.

The daughter and I are fighting off a nasty cough/cold so not much has been going on around here.

I was excited to see that my Serendipity quilt was featured on the Modern Day Quilts blog the Friday just gone. Suuuper excited.

Although I'm spending most spare minutes in bed, I've managed a little work on another baby blanket (their bub was born a few weeks early so I'd better get a wriggle on).

Yes, another disappearing 9 patch. This time in super spring-y colours.

I feel healthier just looking at it.

  1. I love that there are flies crawling on the squares... I hate flies, but somehow fabric ones are ok :) Very springy!

  3. Maaaaaaaan, they're supposed to be bees on honeycomb. Does anyone think they look like bees or am I kidding myself? I can't give a fly blown quilt!!

  8. Lovely, lovely fabric! And I thought "bees" when I saw the one fabric with the honeycombs, not "flies", for what it's worth. :-)

  9. Phew, glad some folks think bees - I think that maybe the yellow colourway is the safest with this print. With the green you don't automatically think bees, whereas with yellow they really can't be anything else.
